Inauguration function of "BEAGLE", the society for practicing biotech engineers was held in the department of Biotechnology on October 11th, 2006. This professional society is meant for facilitating the fine-tuning of lateral talents of budding biotech engineers. It is also expected that this would assist the biotech students to get to know the latest in their field of specialization.

Prof. M.Narasimha Rao, Department of Chemical Engineering, AndhraUniversity, Prof. P.RamaKrishna Rao, Director, ANITS, Prof. R.Govardhana Rao, Principal of ANITS & Dr. K.Balakrishnan, HOD of BioTech Department spoke on the occasion.
