The Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE)

The IETE student chapter was inaugurated by Prof. G. S. N. Raju, Chairman IETE, Visakhapatnam Center on 20-12-2004. The objectives of IETE students chapter are

	To have invited talks from National and International experts in different subjects of ECE.
	To conduct National/Zonal level seminars - at least one in a year.
	To conduct National/Zonal conferences. Symposia at least one in two years.
	To conduct short term courses (two weeks) during non-class work period/ vacation.
	To conduct student technical competitions, in the form of Quizzes, technical Essays etc., once in a year.
