Anits Electrical & Electronics Engineering Association (AEEEA) was started in the year 2006-07. The Executive Committee, whose tenure is for one academic year, headed by the HoD of EEE as its Chairman consists of some faculty of EEE and some student members of final year and pre-final year of BE (EEE). The main aim of the Association is to assist the dept. in identifying the thrust areas and organizing the Workshops/Symposiums etc. It also helps in arranging Expert Lectures/Industrial Tours. It keeps a record of EEE alumni.

Expert Lectures Conducted by AEEEA
The department of EEE has arranged an expert lecture on
"TRANSFORMERS: Construction, Testing and Failures" by Sri P.
Rammohan, GM (Technical), APEPDCL, Visakhapatnam on 23rd
October 2007. Sri P. Rammohan, having around 25 years of practical
experience in Commissioning & Testing of Power and Distribution
Transformers, explained the practical procedures for construction of
Power and Distribution Transformers and their sources of failures. During
his talk, he also mentioned the various testing methods followed in the
MRT wing of APEPDCL. Prof. R. Govardhana Rao, Prof. G. Raja Rao,
HOD of EEE, and other faculty and students attended the lecture.
A Guest Lecture on "AN OVERVIEW OF THERMAL POWER STATION: PROTECTION, EXCITATION & AVR" by Sri N. Siva Prasad, VTPS, Vijayawada was arranged on 8th December 2006.
An Expert Lecture on "AN INTRODUCTION TO NEURAL NETWORKS & ITS APPLICATIONS" by Prof. K. Parvathesam, former professor of A.U. College of Engineering was arranged on 25-01-2007.
An Expert Lecture on "CONTROL OF SYSTEMS WITH FLEXIBLE MODES" by Prof. A. Subba Rao, former Professor of Delhi College of Engineering was arranged on 15th March 2007.
An Expert Lecture on "POWER QUALITY" by Prof. M. Ramamoorty, former Director General, CPRI, Bangalore, former Professor, IIT Kanpur was arranged on 29th August 2007
